Expandable box-type modular house, which includes a box module, foldable roof module; said box module includes a box-type steel structure frame, a base plate set on the steel structure frame, a first hill wall, a second hill wall located on both sides of the steel structure frame and set on opposite sides and corresponding pre-designated doors, windows and pre-built pipelines; the first and second expandable box modules, respectively, are set on both sides of said box module; said foldable roof module includes the first roof panel, the second roof panel; the upper end of the first roof panel, the second roof panel is hingedly connected through the ridge connector; the lower end of the first roof panel, the second roof panel are connected to the longitudinal beams on both sides of the top of the steel structure frame through the hinged connector. The utility model of the box-type movable modular house can be folded during transportation and unfolded during use, which solves the problems of traditional modular buildings with low floor height, limited use area, single roof form and poor user experience.
